Position Overview
The Digital Advertising Sales Executive is a key role focused on generating new business and managing client relationships across Video, Audio & Display platforms. This position requires a proactive sales approach, deep understanding of digital marketing products, and the ability to effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through internal intelligence, networking, and leveraging existing relationships to generate leads.
• Client Engagement: Present digital advertising solutions tailored to meet client needs, ensuring effective communication of product benefits and ROI.
• Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed sales targets by developing strategic sales plans and executing them efficiently.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster long-term, sustainable partnerships and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to inform sales strategies.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, pipeline management and Campaign performance.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a similar qualification.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in media sales or a similar role within a media agency. A proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
Skills:
• Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts including Video, Audio, Display and including programmatic activity.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
• Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) for managing sales processes and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong team member who will take on responsibility for one or more revenue centres.
