The IASH Council, based in the UK, was created to encourage best practice among online advertising sales houses through the adoption of an effective code of conduct.
The admission of Digitize to the Council’s membership is the result of a lengthy and comprehensive audit process, and gives Irish advertisers for the very first time the complete assurance and security that has been enjoyed by online advertisers in the UK since 2005.
Julia Smith, Head of IASH said “We are delighted to welcome Digitize as a newly accredited IASH Member in Ireland. Digitize have worked incredibly hard to pass the stringent audit carried out by ABCe and is now fully committed to adhering the IASH Code of Conduct. This is a critical step forward in reducing the risk of advertising appearing on inappropriate sites and is therefore welcomed by brand advertisers in Ireland.”
Digitize, based in Dublin, was set up in early 2008 by media industry professionals John Patten & Ronan O’Loughlin, with the aim of delivering innovative new digital solutions to Irish Advertisers. Aside from performance networks, Digitize represents blue-chip online publishers including Channel 4, MySpace, Lastminute.com, Miniclip & Glam Media, and bespoke email providers, iMail.
