U.S. digital brand advertising could overtake online direct response advertising for the first time ever in 2012, according to a state of the industry survey from media company Digiday and market research firm Vizu.

RTE, the Irish state TV and radio broadcaster, plans to increase the proportion of revenue it makes from digital services to 15 per cent by 2015 (currently 2.5 per cent), according to a recent speech from RTE Director General Noel Curran.
